Tyson and Saydee woke up early as usual. So, we let Heath sleep in while the kids made homemade Father's Day Cards. Then Tyson wanted to make him a special breakfast all by himself. So, he fixed him a bowl of Captain Crunch, a piece of toast, a strawberry and cut up bananas. Heath was pleasantly surprised by their cards and delicious homemade breakfast which he only got a few bites of due to his generous sharing nature.
Speaking of wonderful fathers, I want to pay tribute to my own amazing Dad. Growing up, he was always so supportive of everything we were involved in, even if it didn't involve sports. He made me feel I was capable of accomplishing anything I set my mind to. He was actively involved in our lives and daily activities. And he set the example of an honest hard worker. We knew we were top priority in his life. With seven kids he still managed to make each one of us feel equally loved and important.
I love You Dad!
Happy Father's Day to all you wonderful Fathers out there!
