So tomorrow begins our departure to the west. Definitely bitter sweet. We'll miss Heath much more than he thinks, i miss him already. He is so good to us all. But we are excited to spend time with our family back home. I'm usually not so good at blogging during vacation, but Heath made me promise i'd post fairly often, so he's not so cut off. And really it's gonna be a pretty long vacation. Thus begins our lives as a gypsy... at least the company will be great!
In truth, as fun as this year has been and will be, I'm tired. We have lots of friends who deploy or constantly move around. I don't know how they do it. In my mind I keep thinking, this is only temporary, I can handle anything temporary. Some people's strength just amazes me.
I guess you do what you gotta do.
Yesterday, half in jest half in truth, I told Heath. "I don't want to be strong, I'm fine and dandy with weak and comfortable" I guess we'd all like it nice and easy, huh. Darn that thing called growth.
Ok enough of my moping. We are super duper excited about these next 2 weeks. Lots of family, camping, reunions, and Tyson's baptism. Wonderful wonderful.
To leave you on a positive note, some funny quotes from our little BIG kids:
- Elli and Saydee were fighting over a toy. And Tyson observing the whole thing looks at me and shaking his head with a big sigh says "Do you think they'll ever learn."
- I walked into my bedroom to find Elli and Saydee into my jewlery, Elliana had 4 or 5 necklaces draped around her neck and on her head. No doubt with Saydee's assistance.Saydee jumps up with a very disapproving look at Elli and says "Momma just look at your daughter"
I love being a Momma, you get to laugh everyday.

I bet you'll miss him! I remember when Lance had to go to Driving school for two weeks and we both cried every night. It's hard!! We are super excited to see you all though!

Such cute kids and the funny things they say! Hope you have a good trip - I'm sad that I haven't been able to see more of you this summer; just that five minutes or so at playgroup...hurry back!
Of course I think that the kids are cute and so smart! I am so amazed how well you all are taking this "vacation" in your stride. Hope that you will plan on staying with us for a bit of the vacation. It would be a little boring for you during the days but what fun we could have in the evenings when we get home from work! Can't wait to see you all. Just a couple of days!!
