A Lincoln update and other fun stuff

Lincoln is almost 2 months old.  Isn't he darling?  So sweet this one.  Time has flown like it seems to do with all newborns.  The weeks have flown but I must admit that the hours inched by his first 6 weeks.
He had a pretty rough start with ear infections and digestive problems. About two weeks ago after cutting dairy and some other trigger foods from my diet we finally decided to try formula.  He had an allergic reaction to it, swelling up a bit and a severe rash from head to toe.  Scared me half to death, especially the swelling at such a young age.
Our Pediatrician suggested a soy formula which has worked like a charm.  Apparently little Lincoln cannot tolerate dairy very well at all.  Judging from his allergic reaction to the formula, Doc thinks he won't  grow out of this sensitivity in infancy.
The good news is today he is a pretty happy camper :)  It was like night and day once we started the soy.  So we're all a little more sane and sleeping a little better and most important the little guy isn't in pain 24/7.

In other news, the sportspark right by our house just built a huge splashpark section with two playgrounds on each side and two man made rivers the kids can play in.  Maybe they are supposed to be more decorative but they attract more kids than the splashpark.  It Is Awesome.  Even when there is a crowd it doesn't feel crowded.  We love it.
Summer is here.  Now we are just awaiting Tyson's arrival in eager anticipation.

Life is good.

Some pictures from my phone...

He is adorable! So sorry about his allergy, poor little guy and so scary. You are a great mama for figuring it out so quick. Love you!

What cute pictures. Is the park where we rode bikes? That is so great to be so close to home if it is the one that I am thinking about. Give my love to the girls and our young man.
