Picking Pumpkins

We love this fall tradition.  We always end up with a strange grouping of pumpkins.  But I would never begrudge the process.

Backyard Play

The girls were outside eating a snack of carrots and celery one Saturday morning.  They asked for more and I was thinking how wonderful it was the girls liked healthy foods.  Then I walked outside and discovered they were using their veggies to bait the bunnies living under our shed.  "A salad for their pets."
Charitable act of kindness.  "Check."  Elli would say.

These last few months have been so nice outside.  I try to entice the kids to go out as much as possible.  Pretty soon it will turn bitter cold.  So I love a good outdoor activity.   I found this fizzy sidewalk paint recipe here at playathomemom , an excellent source of creativity.

Then they sprayed or poured vinegar on their creations and watched them fizz and foam.

It was fun for all of us.

School Days

These girls are in school heaven.  Saydee did preschool from home so I wondered how she'd transition.  She loves it and thrives there.  Elli loves preschool but would not do great leaving me all day yet.  She sure misses her sister though.   I miss them all.

Saydee was chosen from her class to be September Student of the Month

Saydee's Apple picking Field Trip.  Elli, Linc and I met her there.

Lincoln

During our summer Utah visit my wonderful and talented sister-in-law offered to take some baby pictures of Linc.  I love them.  Here are a few favorites.

Lincoln is so sweet, calm and happy.  Loved by all.

A Life With Sisters

These two girlies are little mamas and so good to their brothers... on the whole that is. Their hearts are usually in the right place.

But, sometimes they love too much.  And their attention, at times might seem like torture to our boys.  Either we've been blessed with ultra patient and tolerant sons or they've just realized fighting is futile.

Luckily, the boys also have eachother.  To protect or maybe just to empathize with eachother.
Ahhh, family is the best.  I'm so glad life is made up of moments like these.

Summer Birthdays

Elliana's 4th Birthday
My friend helped the girls make some yummy cupcakes, vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet.

Tragically, we can't find our camera pictures from Elli or Tyson's birthday.  Luckily my friend Wendy took some of Elli's birthday party at the park and we took a few additional phone pics of Tyson's birthday.

Tyson's 11th Birthday
This was Tyson's year for a birthday party but he opted for go carts instead.  He and his friend Bennet had a blast.

Our friend Jennifer, the cupcake queen, made him vanilla cupcakes filled with a banana pudding cream.  Tyson loves banana.

But her smores cupcakes were his favorites.  All delicious!
