Today we went to Eckert's Orchards for some fun Easter festivities. It was great and Saydee loved it despite the cool weather. Most of the activities were held in doors.
We got to hold rabbits and baby ducks, take pictures with the Easter Bunny, plant seeds, and decorate Easter cookies. As the video shows, we were very impressed with her decorating skills. Saydee's favorite parts of the day were riding the tractor train and of course the traditional Easter egg hunt.
I was really impressed with how well organized each activity was. They held Easter egg hunts every 1/2 hour and only allowed a certain number of children go in each age group so it wasn't overly crowded. As an added bonus, all the eggs were filled with toys and stickers rather than candy.
We just wish Tyson and our extended family could have all been there to enjoy the day with us. We are so grateful for this season in celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior and all he has done for us. Wishing all of you a very Happy Easter where ever you are.
