I am sure this picture means very little to you all, but to us it means no more endless trips to the laundry mat. This is no small thing. Suddenly, washing clothes has become more appealing.
It took Heath quite a while to install them due to some fitting issues. Saydee would peek through the crack between the washer and dryer to watch him work and chat a little. Then she would run off to play, but she kept on returning to check on his progress.
After a while I heard Heath say "No thank you, I don't want anymore." She was passing crackers to Heath through the crack. The opening was barely big enough for her little arm to pass through and I guess she assumed Heath was getting hungry back there. It was so funny.
Recently, Saydee loves putting her babies and toys in the laundry basket and pushing them around the house. I wouldn't mind except many times the basket is occupied with, you guessed it, laundry. She of coarse empties it before filling it with her own treasures, but not all in one place mind you. Somehow she manages to string it through out the house if I'm not watching. The other day I went to take a shower and almost slipped on a sock.
So, I now put the laundry in a less accessable place. Plus, having a washer and dryer now certainly helps out. We're all a little happier. I get to do the laundry before it becomes an overwhelming pile and Saydee gets an unoccupied laundry basket.
