So, I started reading this book that a few friends recommended called, Parenting With Love and Logic by Foster Cline and Jim Fay. It really is the best book I've read on the topic and it goes right along with sound gospel doctrine. I was excited to learn that our church ward was hosting a special speaker to give a seminar on the book. Of coarse she wasn't the author, in fact I can't even recall her name but she did an amazing job of incorporated the gospel and the influence of the spirit with the principles of the book. I totally agree with what she said about this book being for anyone in any type of relationship whatsoever. Anyway, I was so glad I was able to go and I realized I sure have some things to change and work on. It's exciting when you find something that could make you a better person, wife and mom!
I've heard that the authors have several books geared to each age group, toddlers, kids and teenagers, even one for grandparents. I really love the concepts of the book and truthfully hadn't given much thought to some of them until now. Good Stuff!
