Neighborhood Fun!

I met the nicest women in the store a few weeks ago. We got to talking and it turns out she lives in a nice neighborhood directly behind our house where Heath and I always go walking with Saydee. Then today I saw her again at the park and we decided we were destined to be friends. Since the park was a little overcrowded and muddy from this week's rain, she suggested we go play at her house. And so we did.

It was so fun, I guess many of the neighborhood kids congregate there and she called a few of her other friends with kids. Saydee was so excited and loved every minute. There was a huge gym set, trampoline, sandbox, you name it. Everyone was so nice and friendly. It was comforting that we shared alot of the same standards and values. In fact, the whole environment was sincerely welcoming and comfortable. I think I was invited to 3 different churches and multiple playgroups. I'm always finding there are alot of great people everywhere.

I just happened to have my camera with me to document Saydee's first trampoline experience. Surprisingly, she was not at all apprehensive. And yes, we had a little accident with the scissors this week. What started out as a trim turned into my butchering her bangs. Poor girl, good thing she is oblivious.

Here are a few other random pics from this week.

How cute is she. It's good she is not afraid of the trampoline. The little yellow and pink outfit looks familiar. I'm glad you liked it. Tell Heath happy birthday Tues. We mailed his card so he'll get it next week sometime. Tell Tyson we're sorry to hear about his little arm. Poor kid! Let us know as soon as there is any baby news.

I love the pictures! Saydee looks like she is having so much fun with the other children. I can't wait to see how she and Tyson interact with each other!! Don't worry, the bangs will grow back. I can't tell you how many times I did that to my girls. Thanks for the tip on the book. I guess I should go get it and see if I can be a better parent & grandparent. Please tell Heath Happy birthday today even though it is tomorrow. We have to make sure we do the whole week thing. We are going over to see Tyson tonight. We'll let you know how he is doing.
