Saturday was a gorgeous day to spend at the Zoo. We had never been to the Children's section of the Zoo, we loved it. In fact we spent the whole time there because the kids didn't want to leave.
There was a cute little playground there with all sorts of fun attractions for the kids. Saydee loved the slides. Tyson spent most of the time playing in the water which shot up randomly from the ground and scared Saydee a bit. Next time we'll be a little more prepared for all the wetness. They also loved petting all of the animals wandering around. Saydee was so funny, she was fearless with the big animals and scared of touching the little ones.
The highlight for us, and most definitely Tyson, was the cute little interactive play they put on. Heath and the kids sat in the front row and were totally enthralled. I slipped away to feed Ellie and made it back just in time for the main actress to call Tyson on the stage to be a part of her final act. He got to pull the rope which released a bunch of pigeons from a barn loft. Everyone clapped for him and he was so proud. He talked about that for the rest of the day, how everyone clapped for him and he got to be part of the show. I was so sad we didn't get pictures of it. But we did get a few of our fun day at the Zoo.

Looks like so much fun! My kids are obsessed with the zoo. We are going this weekend. I wish we could all go together. I love looking at your pics though makes me feel like we are there. Love you all! Keep having fun!
What wonderful memories you are building with the kids. Thanks for letting us share them with us. Zoo is always fun. I never took my kids to the zoo, too far and too much money I thought. Now I wish that I had taken them. What good parents you all are. Give the kids a big hug and kiss from me.
