Tyson turned seven yesterday. He has been counting down the days this whole month, actually since he came to stay with us. He could hardly go to sleep Tuesday night. But then he woke up Birthday morning a little deflated. He came out of his room and said "Heidi, I don't even feel different." So, just to check he measured himself next to me just as he has over the last few days and apparently he is a little past my chin now. He said, "Wow, I can't believe it, I grew a ton. I am so so big now!" So, at this rate he should be his dad's height by next week. Then all day he kept saying "Well... I am seven now, so....." to what ever applied to the situation.Since its hard to get out with the little girls we just stayed home and had our own little "Special Birthday Activity Day". Saturday we are having a little swim party with a few friends. But today we had a lot of fun. We played games and had his favorite foods. Then when Heath got home we played a few more games, ate McDonald's (Tyson's favorite), had cupcakes and ice cream, opened presents and stayed up late watching Indiana Jones.
So, overall he loved turning seven! Tyson again wanted to thank you all for his cards and presents, he loves them! He says thank you thank you thank you!

We're so glad he had a great birthday. Brinklee said today "well I know now that my birthday isn't far away since Tyson had his" So now she's counting down. We love you all!
We are so glad that Tyson had a great birthday. Looked like everybody enjoyed themselves. Although I could relate with Tyson, when I woke up I felt the same way. Of course I didn't have anybody to go stand up next to, but I guess that is what happens when you get older. We love you all and hope Tyson has fun on Saturday!
It is so hard to believe that my grandchildren are growing up so fast. It looks like you all had a great time. I love the knight, did you draw that free hand? What an artist! What a neat idea. We did the pin the nose on the clown last year but it didn't look anything like that. Do you remember that Brinklee and Mckenzie? We had a birthday party for Tyson when I was there with you? I hope that Sat. you have fun and hope to talk to you soon. What presents did you receive Tyson. Let us know.
